Global lessons and activities 2010: Earth Day, April 22
The topic for our IB global lessons in 2010 is the environment.
We encourage you to join with others all over the world with lessons or activities on (or around) Earth Day on 22 April. In this way our actions as individuals and schools form part of the IB community’s and the world’s response to marking our life together on Earth – the planet we share with each other, and with other species.
2010 is the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, and this year also marks the first year when April 22 is celebrated as International Mother Earth Day, designated by the United Nations in 2009.

Share your own lesson plans or ideas for activities with others
Post unit plans, lesson plans or ideas for activities for Earth Day in any subject to this website. Please contribute in the area For teachers and tag with:
