Education in global age
Schools today are preparing students for the year 2030, plus or minus.
“Most schools, as I see it, are roughly going for 1985 – 1991,” Heidi Hayes Jacobs said, at this year's Asia Society Conference in Washington, DC.
In addition to her work in curriculum development, Hayes Jacob has become a strong advocate for technology as a tool to foster global engagement. Some of her ideas and favorite resources are captured in this report from the conference.
